The Edward Shiraz represents the best Shiraz of the vintage. In 2019, Sandy chose a small parcel of Shiraz from some old vines in Orange, NSW and from the moment it was picked it was a stand out in the cellar. Even as fruit it was delicious! After being picked and gently crushed, the fruit was fermented in open fermenters before basket pressing and then settling. It was then slowly matured in new French oak for 18 months.
It was then slowly bottled, with Edward's help, using a gravity filler. This wine was not filtered and harmless sediment may remain. Please decant this wine before drinking and make sure you cellar some, as we will.
